Google Deindex my Blog Post after Submitting the Edited URL in Search Console

Post by Kerem »

Hello I have a big problem with my blog. I updated some of my old blog posts and then submitted the links in Google Search Console. I thought it will help Google to crawl and index the updated posts faster. But, to my shock, google deindexed those pages. What did I do wrong? any help please.

That sounds weird Kareem. It never happened to me. Can you tell if Google reindexed those pages by now?

Google is acting strange in these days. They set rules and change them after a month. It seems the AI took over their algorithm. May be Google felt you changed content as a way to manipulate the search ranks and punished you. Or, it may be just a bug in their system.

It could be a bug, or maybe they thought the updates looked like an attempt to manipulate rankings. With how their algorithms shift, it's tough to say, but it's worth monitoring the pages for a reindex.

Log into Googl Search Console and use URL inspect feature to reindex them.
