How to Change the Default FIOS Router Wireless Network Name?

You can change the current FIOS router wireless network name (SSID) by following the steps below.

1. Connect your computer to the Verizon Fios Router using an Ethernet cable.
   
   Connect the Ethernet port to one of the LAN ports on the router and the LAN port on your PC.
   
   
   
2. Power on the Fios Router and wait till the lights are steady.
   
   
   
3. Open a browser ( Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.) and type 192.168.1.1 on the address bar.
   
   Press the Enter key to connect to the GUI of the Verizon router.
