Kumarakom Backwater Tourism

Kumarakom is one of the important backwater tourist spot in Kerala. Kumarakom is situated in the Kottayam district on the shore of Vembanad lake and you can reach there by a 16-kilometer journey from Kottayam town.
Kumarakom is also famous for Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary where you can find many rare species of birds. In addition to the native birds, you can find a lot of migratory birds.
